Give the management network its own design

NVIDIA’s DGX B200 and B300 XDR SuperPOD guides document SN2201 in out-of-band management. That network carries access to management interfaces on compute systems, switches, servers, storage and rack equipment. The B300 XDR guide explicitly discusses AC or DC SN2201 systems. This is a documented application of the family, rather than evidence that a particular SwitchInfra order was deployed.

The owner-confirmed CBARC product combines 48 RJ45 access ports with four 100GbE QSFP28 uplinks, Cumulus Linux, dual DC supplies and connector-to-power airflow. Those details make power distribution and rack airflow part of selection, alongside port count. A design that specifies an AC variant should not be silently relabeled as the DC configuration.

The associated accessories have practical roles: the SN2201 airflow extender supports the intended rack airflow path, while model-specific fans, power supplies and rails support installation and maintenance. Keep the system order code, accessory mapping and rack variant together in the bill of materials. Reference-architecture connectivity is useful design evidence; it is not a performance guarantee or a customer success story.
