Can I keep using 1G SFPs when moving from C9300-NM-4G to C9300-NM-8X?

Yes. The C9300-NM-8X supports 1G SFP operation as well as 10G. Its interfaces are still configured as TenGigabitEthernet, including at 1G: on stack member 1, use TenGigabitEthernet1/1/1 through TenGigabitEthernet1/1/8. Do not simply copy the old module's GigabitEthernet interface names.
