Description
The NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX 8 GB module, part number 900-13767-0010-001, is a compact production platform for carefully sized edge-AI workloads. It pairs an Ampere GPU with a six-core Arm CPU, one NVDLA engine and 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory. The 69.6 × 45 mm module is suited to evaluation for embedded vision and robotic sensing where memory use and system power are closely managed. Its published 117 sparse INT8 TOPS figure applies to Super mode; carrier capability, software configuration and cooling must be verified.

Product questions & answers

What is included in the identity of 900-13767-0010-001?

This is the Jetson Orin NX 8 GB production module, with 8 GB LPDDR5, six CPU cores and one NVDLA engine. It is a different SKU from Orin NX 16 GB and from Orin Nano. A developer-kit carrier, SSD, enclosure or power supply must not be assumed from the module identity.

What conditions apply to the 117 TOPS specification?

117 TOPS is NVIDIA’s overall sparse INT8 rating for the 8 GB module in Super mode. The result depends on supported software and configuration, and it is not a measured application frame rate. Confirm memory fit and sustained inference timing using your actual workload.

Is the standard upper fixed power mode 20 W or 25 W?

The current product overview lists 25 W for the 8 GB column, while the detailed r39.2.1 power table lists 20 W and separately adds 40 W for Super. This record uses the release-specific 20 W table for configuration guidance and retains the discrepancy. Verify the deployed nvpmodel profile rather than assuming a 25 W preset.

What is needed to enable Super mode on an existing carrier?

NVIDIA requires an HV rail on the Orin NX carrier and a thermal design supporting 40 W, together with a supported software release and Super flash configuration. A software update alone does not establish that an arbitrary carrier and heatsink are suitable.

Does Orin NX 8 GB boot from an included microSD card?

The production module is not the Orin Nano developer-kit module with a microSD slot. NVIDIA specifies external NVMe support for Orin NX. Select compatible external storage, provide a carrier and flash the intended software image.

Does the camera specification guarantee eight physical camera connectors?

No. The specification describes up to four cameras, or eight through virtual channels, over eight CSI-2 lanes. The carrier must expose suitable interfaces, and sensors, drivers and virtual-channel support must match. It is not a claim that the module provides eight camera sockets or sustains every camera configuration.
