Connectivity and mounting
First, count the modules and cables needed at both ends of every link. Second, include rails, brackets, and required mounting parts. Work endpoint by endpoint to avoid missing fiber assemblies or selecting a length that cannot follow the real cable route.
Power and airflow
Third, include the correct power cords, connectors, and auxiliary harnesses. Fourth, plan compatible fans, PSU spares, and airflow parts. A regional label does not define a connector, and an equal power rating does not establish compatibility.
Management and service
Fifth, include management links, appliances, and software entitlements. Sixth, plan spares and cleaning materials around service response targets. Bind these items to parent equipment part numbers so the delivery list can be checked and maintained.
