Is it safe to look into a connected optical port?

No. Never look directly into an energized optical port or connected fiber; its infrared light can be invisible.

Is MFP7E20-N010 an AOC?

No. It is a 10 m passive multimode fiber splitter with female MPO/APC connectors. Separate optical engines are required.

What breakout does one assembly provide?

It routes one four-channel optical port to two two-channel optical ports. With the documented 100G-PAM4 transceivers, that creates two 200G branches.

Which fiber grade is specified for the 10 m version?
