NVIDIA Networking

Choose NVIDIA networking by the connection you need

Start with the protocol and both endpoints, then choose the equipment type. An equal nominal rate does not establish that ports, modules and cables work together.

  • Network adapters — Record the server model, PCIe slot, port mode, driver and firmware requirements.
  • InfiniBand / Ethernet — Identify the fabric protocol, topology, endpoint count and required port modes.
  • Passive fiber cables — Check connector polish, optical lanes, length and straight or split topology at each end. A passive splitter does not convert the protocol.

NVIDIA 100G / 400G multimode links and fiber connections

Compare the interface, fiber grade and connection layout. These parts serve different links; they are not a ready-to-connect kit.

Exact modelSelection condition
MMA1B00-C100D980-9I149-00CS00100GbE QSFP28 SR4, MPO/UPC: up to 70 m OM3 or 100 m OM4.
MMA4Z00-NS400-T980-9I51S-F4NS00400GbE single-port flat-top OSFP, MPO-12/APC: up to 30 m OM3 or 50 m OM4; verify cage cooling.
MFP7E10-N003980-9I73U-0000033 m straight crossover: four-channel MPO/APC at both ends.
MFP7E20-N003980-9I571-00N0033 m 1:2 splitter crossover: four-channel MPO/APC to two two-channel MPO/APC branches.

The 100G module uses UPC; the listed 400G module and E10 / E20 assemblies use APC. Do not mate APC to UPC. Provide both devices and ports, operating mode, fiber grade and length.
